Back Care Business
Total Back Care is a family business operating from its Assessment and Product Trial Centre in the Midlands. Established over 15 years ago, it has grown on the foundations of good customer service and honest, independent advice. Whilst, our core geographic area of operation is in the Midlands, we are increasingly being asked to provide our services in other parts of the country. We are growing our business to accommodate these requests.
Our Philosophy
Back Pain is a debilitating condition which will affect 80% of the population at some time in their lives. It is the second most common cause of long term sickness in the UK, after stress, generating a loss of 150 million working days every year. To bring relief to those in pain and prevention to those at risk, there are many products available. But there is NO one size fits all solution. There couldn’t be due to the diversity of the human body and the wide range of muscular-skeletal problems that can occur, in the varied circumstances in which human’s operate. It is always best practice to talk to our Assessors and if possible try out the equipment they recommend prior to purchase. Help and advice on any equipments correct usage and ensuring its correct set up are essential. Our Assessment Team

The Total Back Care Team is led by its owner Dr Rob Harrison who has a Doctorate in Bio- Mechanics (Ergonomics). He spent many years lecturing (university) and working in Health & Safety and Operations Management, whilst also competing as a Great Britain International Athlete and Team Manager. The Centre is managed by Marion Perkins, a former Orthopaedic Nurse who has great empathy and understanding of back pain. Marion is DSE Risk Assessor qualified and has attended further training in Ergonomics. She always provides a warm welcome to clients. |  Marion Perkins |
