Total Back Care’s core expertise is matching the right Back Care Products to each individual’s Back Care Needs. To achieve this we offer different services:

Business Referral Service – Workstations

Many companies have Occupational Health or Health & Safety Officers who carry out DSE Risk Assessments internally (Health & Safety DSE Regulations 1992).Where the need for Ergonomic Furniture (Seating/Desking) or Accessories is identified, the individual is then referred to the Centre. Our Assessors work with the client to select and trial the optimum equipment required for the individual’s needs. We supply written reports, where required, identifying our Assessment Outcome. Equipment is then delivered to the individual’s place of work, where we ensure it is correctly set up and full instruction is given on its use. Health Professional Referral Service

Clients are referred by Osteopath’s, Chiropractor’s, Physiotherapists, GP’s, Hospitals & many other medical routes. They have received diagnosis and treatment and now require assistance with selecting and buying the right Back Care Supports. This service can cover Domestic and Workplace requirements including Car and Sleep Solutions. Drop in service during Centre opening hours. Access to Work

We supply a wide range of Ergonomic Equipment including RH, Hag, Rabami, Opera, Therapod, Sven Christiansen & Adapt Office Seating, Consett desking & Desktop / Laptop Ergonomic Accessories. Disabled Student Allowance

We provide assessments and supply products to clients qualifying for this allowance. Contact Dr Rob Harrison for more details.

DSE Workstation Assessments

We have 4 staff qualified to carry out DSE Workstation Assessments. These can follow the basic statutory requirements of the Health & Safety DSE Regulations 1992 or be more advanced by including the recommendation and trial of appropriate products, as required. Prevention through Posture Support

Drop In Service

Our Centre is always available to clients who simply want to try out Back Care Products for themselves. When considering purchasing large items such as Beds and Domestic Seating, allow around one hour to really try out the options available. Marion and the team will ensure a warm welcome awaits you.

Back Care Lectures
