Back Supports

Travelling, particularly by car, is a causal influence of many people’s back pain. There can be significant constrictions to achieving good posture – bucket seat, minimal head room, citing of pedals and steering wheel in relation to leg length and body frame. In order to optimise posture we recommend a Car Assessment. Our trained Assessors will show you adaptations to open up the pelvic angle and support the lumbar spine whilst on the move. A range of supports and wedges can be tried out for comfort whilst our Assessors check your alignment.

The Centre maintains a reserved parking bay to conduct Car Assessments or our Assessors will come out to look at you in your car if parked in nearby streets.

Portability is also important when on the move. Inflatable lumbar supports can easily be carried around in a briefcase or in hand luggage.
