RH

A top class range of office and workplace seating, recognised through the award of FIRA Ergonomic Excellence for an outstanding 9 consecutive years. Movement and variation in seating position are easily achieved whilst remaining fully supported and comfortable at all times. We particularly like the pivotal Free Float Mechanism (2PP tm technology), unique to RH chairs, which ensures that the body receives the variation and support it requires even when moving, as the chairs basic settings won’t change. Rabami

Another top class range of seating from the Scandinavian Business Seating group. Fully adjustable back and seat, with a tension controlled, free float mechanism which allows the chair to maintain maximum support levels during movement. A very comfortable range of chairs, with a good choice of back rest options.

We generally select from the Rabami 600, 700 and 800 series, but consider the wider range when appropriate to do so. A relatively new addition to Total Back Care’s range, which is rapidly proving itself to be a popular choice.

Hag

Our third selection from the Scandinavian Business Seating group. With a focus on balance and freedom of movement, Hag chairs are the most popular choice throughout Europe. One of the easiest ranges to adjust, with a simple lockable tilt mechanism. Good range of seat and back heights and depths, making multiple use a possibility. Very comfortable yet firm seating.

We select from the entire Hag range, including HO3, HO4 (Credo), HO5, HO9 & Visitor Seating. Total Back Care has 15 years experience in the specification, supply and set up of Hag Seating and a good record of the product living up to its 10 year guarantee.

Sven Christiansen

The G series of working chairs from Sven Christiansen are relatively new to the ergonomics and back care market. They offer a great range of adjustable features, including inflatable lumbar support, sliding seat and a back/seat tilt mechanism with independent seat and back angle adjustments. The G3 includes the impressive M6 Premium synchro mechanism with integral forward tilt and variable back angle, allowing the angle of forward tilt to be isolated. This feature is unique to Sven Christiansen.

Advanced Seating

The Opera range from Advanced Seating is relatively new to Total Back Care. We select primarily from the 10, 20 & 60 Series, although others are available as required. We supply this chair according to Ergonomists’ recommendations under the Access to Work Scheme or following our own Workplace Assessments. We are cautious about supplying any chair purely on the basis of body measurements, if the individual has not had the chance to sit in the chair and assess its level of support and comfort for themselves.

Status Seating

An excellent range of purpose built back care chairs. We select primarily from the Therapod & Chiropod series. Unique adjustable back support system for optimal comfort and a range that will accommodate up to 30 stone in weight.

Ergo Chair

A relatively new company, Ergo Chair have developed a good range of Office Seating based on the concept of adaptability. Primarily, focussed on the Access to Work market, they have tried to make it easy for Assessors by offering a wide range of variations within one core range – the ADAPT. A wide range of specialist options are offered at low cost and some included as standard, such as a Memory Foam seat and seat slide.

We select from the ADAPT series and supply according to Ergonomist’s Recommendations under the Access to Work Scheme or following our own Workplace Assessments. We are cautious about supplying chairs generally on the basis of body measurements, where the individual has not sat in the chair and therefore has no knowledge of whether it will be of optimum support and comfort for their condition.
